Who would you have the most trust in, assuming a certain Newspaper owner keeps his mitts off.

It depends on keeping it's customers in more immediate circumstances than any government does.

It's also subject to far more close examination that any government, and that examination is worldwide. Few really examine government affairs, most finding them boring so they are often ignored.
