try contacting the electric transport shop. they usually take old bikes as trade ins ,depending on the bike and it's condition.
email them at sales@electricbikesales.co.uk and see what they say

depends........if its a good condition e bike of the type that the dealer sells then you have a chance if you are buying a new bike from them.

on regular bikes......usually no interest.... unless its something very special for which they are guaranteed an early sale.

some bikes fetch good second hand prices on ebay (eg bromptons) others have virtually no second hand value........

eventually e bike dealers will need to operate in the same 'part ex' way as car dealers if they are to get repeat business at the top end of the market......just my opinion of course..........it will eventually be a buyers market rather than the current sellers market.....but not this year !!!
