Touring and camping with ebike

just wondering with this great weather just now, actually too hot for me, if camping, if many ebike owners do long distance touring. wonder how you get on with charging at campsite, thats why i always look out for campsites with bothies, ebikers dream for getting battery charged , even without bothies i find the office staff quite accommodating, i just put a bob or two in a charity box if there is one.

I've done this. I normally contact the campsite in advance to say I'll be arriving by eBike and will need to recharge the battery.

Normally I hand it in on arrival and ask for them to sign my receipt (name on battery too to ensure it isn't given to the wrong camper) and they charge it overnight with no charge. I do worry about them losing it though - they're expensive and I'd be stranded without it.
