Hi flecc.
I have today pulled the plug on the speed restrictor on my touq, now goes like stink but a lot of alarming yellow and red lights dont know about battery life though have only done 1 11ml. trip and find it two sharp and to quick for general use but better up very steep hills.
So decided to put a switch in to be able to turn it on and off but came across a problem,on the plug when you disconect the top part has 2 wires feeding into it and the lower part has only one, do you think I can just cut into the lower single wire and fit a switch into this wire.
I cant get the top plug apart to see if the 2 wires are joined together hoping you maybe able to help, have spoken to 50 cycles without luck.
Thanks john

Yes, just put the switch between the pair and the single wire John, and cutting the single wire to do it is fine. Don't worry about the meter lights. Just go to this entry on my Torq Talk site and see the explanation for it's behaviour.
