All the time I was researching the Ezee Torq I never had this question answered.
So here it goes again.

What size frame is the Ezee Torq built on?

I think the frame is slightly smaller than this. Certainly at 5'8 with a 30 inch leg I am comfortable on a Torq. I also have the 49cm Agattu and that doesn't feel substantially smaller.

Hi Stokepa

I am afraid no one has been lucky enough to see a Proconnect 53 yet, the demo model we have is a 49.

Next weeks shipment of Pro connect will be 49cm and 61cm with a few step thru proconnects as well.

We now have stock on half the range, but not the most popular ones yet.

The 26'' 45cm Agattu and Proconnect are tremendous machine and will be available to try at Presteigne.

Regards

Scott
Oh PS We were talking about the Torq frame size.
Didn't know I headed it as "50cycles costomer service thread".
Windups !!!

Hi Scott

I was refering to the bike with all the carbon attachments and rear drailure which you confirmed to be a 53cm when I came over to collect my torq. ive got a 31 inside leg and could only just stand over the frame. In that case Burncycle you need the 49.

Im still having some doubts about this issue.
50cycles said a 53cm would be the size I need.
Im 5ft 11in with probably a 31in leg.
I went to my local bike shop to try a few Dawes cycles.
I tried the 49cm and the 53cm.
Out of the two the 49cm seemed right and the 53cm seemed a stretch, though the bike chap said I looked more comfortable and the stretch seemed better on the 53cm.
Any advise would be great from anyone?

One question I would ask is have you owned a bicycle before and if so what was the size? To some extent it is a personal choice as to how you want a bicycle to feel - I personally prefer the feel of a larger framed bike and the Torq suits me perfectly at 5'8" and the 49cm Agattu is pretty good too. I would agree with 50 cycles that the 53cm frame would be best for you at your height. For maximum pedalling efficiency your leg should be almost straight when the pedal is at its max downstroke and that might mean the 49cm framed bike would have the seat raised a bit high. But as I said in the end it is a personal decision but would be difficult to make if you haven't owned many bikes in the past.

I can tell you that Ive just been to buy a crank extracter and its the wrong bloody size. if you ever need to know, its the thinner one you need although I would have been better buying the multifit one

what a donkey - lost the will to go back to the shop now!!

You should read Harry's excellent post on bike sizing too

Workman blaming his tools and all that. It was the correct size im just thick. you have to unscrew a little thing in the top. all done and torq back on the road. Just in time for the rain!!!

Im getting good at this mechanic lark:)
