Makes you wonder how many chucked away a winning ticket. Sadly most of these will have been awarded some sort of Maths qualification by a school, which says a lot about our education system.

Makes you wonder how many chucked away a winning ticket. Sadly most of these will have been awarded some sort of Maths qualification by a school, which says a lot about our education system.
I'm sure the same would happen if tickets were based on percentages or fractions. Much of the money we spend on education is obviously being wasted, and some of that is due to our silly persistence in forcing everyone into the straight-jacket of an often unsuitable academic education.
