Tongsheng display wanted

First Post and not a great one.....
Someone tried to steal my TSDZ2 last night. This morning I found a crank bolt and a couple of screws missing and thought they had shaken themselves loose but I soon realised the display was also missing. Luckily I replaced all the screws but I wondered if any of you on here would have a spare display to sell me..... Anything will do! It's my cargo bike and it's my only transport so pretty screwed without it. I'm in London but I'd obviously pay postage, etc.
Alternatively if anybody knows a way to start the motor (kit came with a throttle that I never used). Also if you know of a UK seller that might be able to help.

Afaik,there is a six and an eight wire version of the controller and display wiring. If your kit came with a throttle, you probably have the 8 wire version of display (cable) and you may run into trouble if you get the six wire display. (you need to check this).
Incidentally, it has been claimed that its possible to run bike without display but I cant verify if this is the case. This would be done by connecting the blue and red wire together. It has also been claimed that the throttle can also be directly wired in cable provided the controller is the 8 wire version. It may be difficult to do all of this without damaging the controller cable or connector if the display along with its cable is missing. The person who claimed to have done this has a faulty vlcd5 and was able to use its old cable to do this. It would be interesting to see if it works.

That's a great help thanks. I'm gonna try and do that but in the meantime I need to order a display. My kit seller on aliexpress don't have the vlcd6 in stock and offered the 500c instead. I had been looking at that series of displays from other sellers but they specified they were for Bafang motors. Are they interchangeable with Tongsheng? And if so can I get the SW102?

Ok I think I understand now that the displays may be interchangeable but the plugs are different so next question is where can I get an SW102 for tongsheng? Found one in Germany but its quite expensive!

Be careful what you buy the tongsheng displays are not all plug and play the battery % calibration is voltage dependent .I have a 8 pin vlc 5 48v used spare if you want to collect from rm15 for a small donation
PS they have to flash bafang displays to work on the tsdz

Oh that would be great! I have the 1to2 cable from the motor to the handlebars so only have a 6pin (display) and 3pin (throttle) available. Does your vlcd5 have a cable that goes all the way to the motor?

Sorry it is the display only so you are stuck if you have the split cable you will have to fit like for like
as mentioned by others
