yeah was a halfords sram price, so then no way it will last as long as 6 chains will it.

Agreed, and you would need titanium cassette and chain set to match.
I had a titanium frame once when I was rich. I didn't notice any advantage and it broke after a couple of years!

i dont think that they make them as mine is 11 speed and 300 quid for a new one last time i looked.
