In a post many moons ago, I lamented about the death of hitch hiking. Like reports of Mark Twain`s death, this death had been much eggagerated. Hitch hiking is not dead, like smoking, it has gone electronic.

Less hitching, more of a venture into the relatively known with relatively unstrangers. When hitching across Yoorup many moons ago I relished the challenge of meeting loads of very strange folk. Some very strange, indeed.
I've signed up for couchsurfers - in the hope of being a cultural ambassador and getting a lift with some beams. Not that sort of lift? Ah well.
