Hi

I have put this on the other forum because i forgot my pass word for this one, but then remembered it.!! would someone be kind enough to help me with the wiring on my new throttle please, I have a gu65 setup controller on my bike, I have been and
got a throttle for it which works great, however I am not sure about the 3 wires left over which I take it are for battery indicator and switch, which goes where please.
Green brown and yellow, which ones are for battery indicator and do they go to the main connection on battery or the charging + - connector.? and then the switch
how and where does this go which ever colour that is.

Any help please would be gratefully received.

Thanks Keith

The green wire is for the LEDs. If you connect it to anywhere with battery voltage, the LEDs will work. They use the throttle black wire as a common ground.

The brown and yellow wires are the switch, which you can use for anything you want; however, you can use it to switch on/off your controller.

Th thin red wire with the thick red and black battery wires is the ignition wire and has to be connected to the battery positive for the controller to give power, so you can connect it to the brown or yellow, and then the remaining one (yellow or brown) to the battery. The trick now is use the throttle LEDs to show when it's on, so you connect the green wire to the same point where you connected the thin red wire, so, when the switch is on, the controller is on and the LEDs light up. This switch is OK to leave your bike switched off for a couple of days, but you should disconnect or switch off the battery for longer periods because there's still a minuscule drain on the battery.

I'll draw up a schematic, which I'll add later.
