March 7, 20224 yr Lots of videos on this but they all have stripped cable showing wire colours. But I don't want to cut into my connector(s). So is there a safe way with a multimeter to work out + - and sensor? Using either the male or female (throttle end) connection. I don't want to short or damage anything. Thanks
March 7, 20224 yr One will only do any damage if one shorts any of the pins together so if testing do it carefully, best way of testing is to have the opposite female plug with the wire tails secured in a strip connector block. If it is a Julet connector I have marked the pins for male connector, the other being Sig. If a Higo as used by Bafang Gnd is the same but believe 5v is reversed. Edited March 7, 20224 yr by Nealh

March 8, 20224 yr If replacing a three wire one any three wire one will work as long as the wire sequence is correct.

March 10, 20224 yr They should do if the same number of pins, but always check the sequencing to be 100% sure.
March 12, 20224 yr Author Sorted, cut the cable to ensure correct connections. Here they are should anyone need them.
