Throttle trouble...

Hi all
I've got a Cube 1000w bike. I changed throttle to twist grip with key and battery display. The old one had 6 conns including a brown cable. The new one doesn't have one. I connected up the 5 cables. All I get is a constant display (key on/off makes no difference) and no response from the throttle. The replacement throttle is brand new so don't think it's that. Any help greatly appreciated.

It might help to show what you have. Show us the new throttle and its wires. The old one with 6 wires is probably standard wiring.

Was there an explanation of the wires in the listing or do we have to figure it out with a meter?

One of the wires has battery voltage, so whatever you do, don't start randomly connecting otherwise you'll wipe out the throttle and the controller.
