Managed to damage the connector on my throttle, bike fell over and buggered the connector.
Bought a new pre-wired cable / connector, which colours go to which? Motor is a 350 Yose kitIMG_20201220_101109[1].jpg

Tried a few combinations no luck. Everything on the bike otherwise works fine!

Mauve to Red , Black to Black and White to Blue.
White is usually always the signal wire.

Plug the connector in, switch on, then measure the red and black. It should be 5v or thereabouts.

Correct. Anybody got the wiring colours for the throttle?

Black is never anything other than ground. That only leaves two posibilities, one of which will work and one won't.

Tried both, no go.

Must assume fault in throttle maybe?
Put a meter across throttle wires.
Black / Mauve gives 3.5K ohms
Black / Grey gives 33M ohms
Mauve / Grey gives 33M ohms

Is the throttle a variable resistor / rheostat.
If so moving the throttle lever should give some movement in resistance???

Everything else works fine. When the bike fell over. The waterproof plug took a thump and broke the plastic housing and bent the pins. The throttle did not take a knock..... Ideas?

It's a hall sensor, so nothing changes except when it's powered.
Connect the 5v to the purple wire and ground to ground, then measure between the signal wire and ground to see if the output voltage changes when you press the lever.

Some controllers, like KT and Brainpower, often have the throttle switched off by default, so you have to switch it on in the settings. what controller do you have? Was your previous one working? Does the PAS work now?

Its this one https://yosepower.com/collections/motor-kit-with-battery/products/36v-350w-26-27-5-28-rear-motor-kit-for-cassette
Everything is working. All I'm trying to do is put another plug on the end of the throttle cable. Original plug was damaged when bike fell over, as per above posts

Is that the exact LCD you have in the picture, because Yosepower changed from KT to Lishui recently?
It is that kit. The controller and display are both Lishui ?
That is the Lishui display ?

Make sure the Julet connectors are 100% undamaged, why did you not just buy a throttle with the correct connector attached.
Are they both Julet or is one a Higo ?

Strangely the Yose throttle uses a male plug. All the ones I have seen are female, like
as supplied with bafang..... hence the repair attempt

The story so far doesn't add up, so I must be misunderstanding something or missing some vital info. Please confirm all these points:
1. You have a Yose kit. The throttle was working fine and setup properly.
2. You crashed and damaged the throttle body.
3. You bought a new throttle of the same type, cut the connector off, cut the connector of the old one and joined the wires.
4. The bike works correctly with the PAS.
