I have a rear hub motor ebike. I was riding it in the rain and it slipped. I managed to land on my feet and run ahead when I came off, but the bike crashed to the ground. Anyway, I picked it up and cycled home with no issues. Pedal assist worked fine and i'm certain I used the throttle too.
The next day arrives, I finish charging the battery and i'm about to leave but realize the twist throttle is no longer working. There is an error on the display saying "E07" and there is a small "M" at the top of the display.
I've done a bit of research and people say "E07" can mean an issue with the throttle, brakes, controller, battery, motor. Pretty much everything! People also say the "M" means an issue with the motor, but i've read people solving their issue without doing anything to the motor.
The pedal assist seems to work when I lift the bike up and move the pedals. I plan on testing it out properly to see if it properly works.
I've disconnected the brakes and had a look at the controller wiring. I'm not very knowledgeable about the wires in the controller.
Something else I have noticed is the front and back bike lights are flickering on and off slightly, when they're turned off. They turn on fine.
Does anyone know what the problem could be? I have attached photos of the error on the display and also the controller wires. I noticed there's one controller wire that is not connected to anything. There doesn't seem to be anything it connects to though. I have taken a photo of this too.
