Benn looking at which bike to buy for a few weeks now. Thank you to everyone who has already provided help. Now down to 2 bikes. Tried the Batribike yesterday and liked it. Thought I would need to go for the 24" version but the normal one was fine. However I really don't like styling of the bike. The swan neck is jus too pronounced. I like the look of the Chic better, and although I managed the height on the pro, I had to use an ordinary saddle at the very lowest point. According to the spec the 26" Roodog minimum saddle height is 80cm, which would allow a sprung saddle. The Pro comes with a Samsung Battery, which the guy said was better, but looks like the Roo can have one for an extra £60.
I know I want the battery in the pannier rack and a throttle. Both have these.
Suspension on the front at least.
Would like disk breaks. Roo has but Pro has V
Roo says 30 miles Pro 30 to 60 (seems optimistic!)
Pro has nicer controller and 5 rather than 3assist levels. Also can go up and down rather than toggle between.
So all in all I think I prefer the chic but know Roodog are newish and Batribike are not.
Have tried Batrbike and couldn't try Roodog.
Please help if you can.
