She has 'developed' the fitment of a 'windy gun' (as used to remove car wheel bolts at Quikfit etc) to drive the crank of her bike.

The French have already created compressed air cars, Link.
.
I wonder why 'air cars' did not take on. Surely compressed air is easier to fill up the cars than current charging stations?

It's strange, I thought one of those French cars would be an ideal town car. The only disadvantage I can see against electric is that electric sockets sufficient for a slow charge are everywhere, but adequate compressed air facilities would be limited.

Someones nicked the front wheels.
Wouldn't fancy that in a front end shunt with a bus.
Is that a lift up front door? Could be fun if someone parks a bit close.
Mind you, I bet soundwave could do something interesting with it.

Another alternative being considered is to use cyrogenic air .. liquiified air held in an insulated bottle , at normal pressure is allowed to boil off and generate pressure in such an air engine. The energy density is equivalent to Li ion battery .There is no great safety hazard as the storage container is not pressurised and in a leak the air would just boil off . The technology is well established , and very suited to off peak electricity production using compressors. Probably not a home product .. but you never know.

Its also being developed for "off peak" electricity storage where the liquid air is used as a reserve to power air-generators which are used to fill instant peak demand needs at the throw of a switch
