When I see kits advertised, that are capable of propelling a bicycle to over 60 mph, it really brings me out in a cold sweat.

My previous MAC motor bike was capable of around 27mph on the flat, and I certainly would not want to be hitting the ground at that speed. The sweet spot was 22mph for me.
I was travelling at 60mph the other day on a dual carriageway (in a car of course), and I was thinking that it would be lunacy for a converted bicycle to be ridden at that speed
Torque, rather than speed, in my opinion is far more useful.
