Hi all you ebike fans. I'm hoping that you could give me some advice,my husband and I are looking for a bike to use it to go around the English countryside and along the towpath. In a few years we are planing to go to Europe and travel around with a motorhome. We have seen and test ridden a few bike but come away very confused, as they all seem great. We are trying to decide between Releigh, KTM, Scots and gazelle. Can anyone tell us which is the best Quality we are happy to spend £2000-ish

The four you mention are all good quality e-bikes. When choosing from a good selection like that, the best one for anyone is the one they most like in all respects after having a ride on each.

Other people's advice is of limited value, since we are all different in so many ways. The best way to use this forum is to first make your choice as I describe, then before buying, post what your choice is. Then if any of us see a possible flaw in your choice in relation to your intended use, we can point it out for you.

Most motorhome users tend to use a smaller wheeled bike,it's easier to stow in the garage or on the bike rack and lifting it on/off.
My Kudos Secret (weight 18kg)has been a typical motor home bike,if you are not concerned with folding our Kudos Sprint might be a valid bike, there are pre launch info and photos elsewhere on the forum.
Our London dealer has 40 plus bikes, including a good range of KTM bikes, based in Hampton Wick, down the M4 for you,the test track is part of Bushy Park,so it's a nice day out.
Good luck with your search

Of those I prefer the KTM but I may be biased because that is the range I am most familiar with, the KTM range is enormous-something for everyone.

Of the bikes on your list all could, and probably do, have the Bosch motor.

Components will be similar from Shimano and the like.

So in that respect, there won't be much to choose between them.

It comes down to which one you prefer.

Fit and style will be a little different, but the choice could come down to something as simple as the colour.

I think Gazelles are among the best made and finished bikes you can buy, but I wouldn't buy one if I preferred the fit and style of something else.
