A public speaker was scheduled to give a lecture to the ladies of the Womens Institute. The lecture was entitled "How to improve your Sex Life". At the last minute, the speaker had to cancel, owing to ill health. The lady in charge asked a gentleman aqaintence if he would give the lecture instead. He agreed to do so, on condition that his wife, who would not be present, would be told that the lecture was about offshore sailing. This was agreed, and the lecture went ahead.
A few days later, one of the institute women met the gentleman`s wife in town. She said "it was very kind of your husband to give us that enjoyable lecture, please thank him from me .." The reply was,
"Yes I will thank him, but I don`t know why you chose him, he has only ever done it twice. The first time he was sick, and the second time, his hat blew off!"
