A young child asks his parents for a loan of £10.

"What do you want the £10 for?"

"So that I can by you a Christmas present!"

And just where, have we heard this logic applied recently?

The current economic crisis, brought about by the "trailer park" boys refusing to repay their loans, has resulted in the lenders picking up the ball and going home.

The only source of cash to prop up the false economies of the Western Nations, is those countries who have a trade surplus.

China: Commodities
The Far East: Oil & gas
Russia: Gas.

If the Western world ceases to have cash with which to purchase their wares, then they too will be drawn into the downturn. Hence the title of the thread.

"Could you please lend us sixty billion pounds?"
