Just when you think you're sorted something new comes along to tempt you  not too keen on that bike, but the Bosch system looks much more integrated into the bicycle.

Would be interested to know how much the MX2 will cost, as I cannot find any reference to the price ?£?

Should be cheaper to make than the MX, less metal & no front suspension. I wonder if it still has the bottle dynamo lighting?

Pweetty!!

I wonder if they keep it simple black for the marketplace or not? love the discreet black look that somehow will not be discreet if you know what I try to mean...?

Any touring ones coming out we can see?

I wonder, will this be a replacement for the mx or an addition to the product line?

Thanks for all your comments and interest!

I am sorry but I don't have any further information at the moment, as soon as I do I will post here.

All the 2014 bikes will have lighting through the battery, and of course a warning in German to say the bike is not strictly legal on German roads where the law states all bikes must have an independent dynamo!!

If this one doesn't grab you Artstu, what about this full suspension beauty from Riese and Muller?!!

Full details to follow!

All the best

I know what you mean. I had a dahon uno in matt black so thugs would assume it was carbon fibre, lots of attempts to pull me off and steal it. Once I arrived at the bike outside a supermarket and the guy had basically pulled the bike rack out the ground and was preparing to put it in his transit. Problem is I have a preference for matt black paint jobs.

London, it was a fold up bike so I would ride it all over the place day and night. In my experience bike thief's don't want to be seen so when your running towards them shouting your head off they usually run off.

I'm not sure i see what it's for, with rigid forks and slick tyres it's no mountain bike anymore, yet it still has a huge beefy frame like a mountain bike.

I will also be interested in hearing what the overall weight is Streethawk. I cant imagine it will be much more than 23kg though.

As soon as the gout has eased off I'll post one. Have to take it first.
