OK, let me make this clear to you.
If we receive complaints then we have to be seen to deal with them fairly and promptly.
That means potentially taking the offending posts/threads offline while we investigate.
Seek legal advice if we are unsure
If it is necessary we will draft an alternative of the offending post.
We will inform the original poster of the changes we intend to make.
We will contact the source of the complaint advising of the changes we are making.
Matter closed.
We may decide comments can remain in their original form. If not, we'll advise that this is the case. It's up to the complaint source whether to go down the legal route.
Just remember it's not your neck on the line but mine. I'm all for free speech, but I cannot avoid abiding by the law.
Taking all that into consideration Russ, I was interested to investigate the T&C's of this site, but see that I am not allowed to access that....which seems a bit strange.....or is it just me ?
I was just wondering exactly how totally responsible you are, as the site owner, for the posts published on the site ?
I can certainly understand perfectly well you not wanting to be the subject of legal action.
However, having followed these threads with increasing amazement and dismay at the seemingly suicidal attempts of 50C to make things ever worse by the minute..... including telling me, personally,to Beware.... I did take particular notice of how things were being phrased by forum members.....ie.....carefully not accusing anyone of anything that wasnt there in black and white on 50c's site, merely pointing out the lack of ethics in such behaviour.
Or have I totally misunderstood all of this.......and is your current problem really that us other involved posters are asking poor 50cycles to apologise for their arrogant comments about us ?
Now that I COULD understand
However not being a solicitor
I just hope that you can clarify the situation to your satisfaction and hopefully return the threads to the forum soon.
