Temperature Soars in MK

For what seems like the first time in months, the temperature went in to double figures, 10.1 degrees C. in Milton Keynes:eek:

Wall to wall sunshine and 14.35 Kwh of solar power generated, could this mean winter or as we now know it Easter is over:cool:

I must admit I have been getting hot under the collar of late but I don't know if that has been caused by the change in the weather:cool:

Surprisingly high , nothing like that here on the South London/Surrey border, measured in the shade of course to avoid direct sun warmth.

At this moment with wall to wall sunshine, just over 6 degrees C at eye level in the shade and air temperature a little higher up at 3.1 degrees due to wind chill.

7.5 here in Cheshire - goodness only knows what it would be if we dared to venture out into the full blaze of the afternoon sun. I need to lie down ...

No, nurse - they can't possibly be cake crumbs. I don't leave crumbs ...

Shem,

I'm surprised it's not scorching way down south in Caldicotte, at least you can cool off in the lake;)

Felt cold here today in Lancashire. Had intended going to go out on my bike this afternoon when I arrived home from the hospice, but changed my mind. It was too hot in the hospice, and staff had to open the windows whilst we were doing tai chi, so it's no wonder I felt cold when I went outside ;)

We ended a gloriously sunny day generating almost 18Kwh of solar power, enough to heat several jacuzzis:rolleyes:

Personally, I prefer a shower rather bathing in a soup of my own and other peoples dead skin etc.:(

On another subject, patio heaters:mad:, why don't we just speed up the process of destroying the planet and have nuclear holocaust instead:eek:

Well, not so warm here but glorious sunshine on ride home from work. Shame about the wind though: at one point I think I was actually stationary. Which was an improvement on going sideways.

I seriously hope that spring has come at last. I am finding this a very long and cold winter. And we have kites to fly! (£3.99 from Aldi)

Here's to sun on your back.
