Taking my whisper abroad

Featured Replies

Hi

I have owned a whisper 750 e for several years now and am about to move to France. I am not sure how to go about transporting my bike. All my possessions are going on a lorry and my question is, do I need to leave the battery connected onto the bike or is it ok to disconnect it and pack it in a box along with all the other boxes in the lorry?

Any ideas?

The safest option is to leave it locked to the bike, that way the electrical contacts can't be damaged or shorted.

I know that with phones or whatever when you send them you have to have the battery connected and a battery is dangerous to travel unconnected this is why I have asked the question with regard to transporting my bike. thanks for responding.
