Afternoon. Admitting I have been foolish, purchased a battery off eBay. The battery has only the positive and negative wires. No charging cable. I took off the plastic covering and a BMS is fitted. No sign of charge cable though. Can I use the output cables to connect a charger directly? I know it sounds stupid. I thought if I purchased and xt60 connector I could adapt a charger and fit the male, or female to it. The opposite in battery leads. Is this okay? Feel a right dick not asking for full specification. Presumed it was set up like a normal battery. It's been stripped from a new bike apparently. It is holding charge though. Should have done homework though. Thanks in advance. Peter.

Show us a pic of the battery or a link to said battery and pics of the bms wires, if the BMS has three wires B- , P- & C- then it needs to be charged via dedicated cherge port. However if the BMS is a same port charge BMS it will only have B- & P- connected on the PCB.

Will do. Thanks.
