Wondering if anyone else has had this problem and may be able to give me a solution. I have been back and forth to Swytch and I can't say the support has been overly....supportive.

I bought a kit and have fitted it all fine. However the main power cable from the battery to the motor will not fit together. This is the black power cable that has 2 arrows that should touch when connected. There are no bent pins and no blocked holes and I am pressing the ends to gether as hard as I can (I am a sports teacher so not short of a bit of strength!) But they just don't go together. As such no power is getting to the motor wheel. Any advice on this one?

Two things that can help. Firstly, put a bit of siolicone grease in the hole. Not only does it hep them go together, but it prevents corrosion and keeps water out. Secondly, wiggle them into a sort of banana shape each way while you push. Some are very tight.

To avoid too much wiggling (I thought it might damage the connectors eventually) I made to a little jig out of ~0.5in square wooden batten to clamp to either side of the black Juliet connector to give better grip when pulling them apart. Could be used to push them together although I didn't need to (but had to be careful that pins/arrows aligned )
