As you may have noticed I've been knocking around for the past few days asking n00b questions probably. I've gathered a lot of information and I think I found the perfect kit for me based on users of this forums' reviews - Bionx. However its too expensive to order from overseas and too risky.

Everyone I speak to who reads what I'm after says 'you want a Torq mk1' however I can't find one. Ive heard this motor Suzhou Bafang discussed and is apparently used on the torq and the new Wisper 905se. Ive read of a few people who talk about using this motor in DIY projects but I've not been able to un earth much info. Could anyone point me in the right direction?

Second hand Torqs seem to come up quite regularily. There was a time where there were three unsold here in the classified section. I am surprised none have come up for a while (last one was just over a month ago on ebay). But then again I wouldn't be surprised if one or two came along again so I still say this is your best bet.
