Hi these bottom brackets are very rare and dear to buy, is there an equivalent that would work please

Do you mean cadence sensor? Or do you mean the Suntour HESC torque sensor bottom bracket?

You need to make it clearer what you have. The cadence sensors I've seen fitted were just cheap Chinese ones that I used to buy fir $1 from China. Do you mean the big chainwheel torque sensor arrangements? It would probably be a good idea to explain to us what has gone wrong and how, then we can make suggestions on how to fix it.

That doesn't answer the questions. What do you mean by built into the bottom bracket? You're not really helping us to help you. You need to answer questions properly if you want help, otherwise you're just wasting everybody's time.

Bottom brackets use torque sensing not Cadence.
