Very positive article in today's Sunday Times In Gear magazine.

"Three months into my long-term test of Giant’s top-of-the-range electric bicycle, I’m sticking with the conclusion I drew after week one: that the Giant Twist Espirit Power might have a silly name but it is — drum roll — the future."

"This bike does two things very well: flattens out nasty hills and extends your range. In other words, it is perfect for commuting. In a busy city, it is so much better than a car. During rush hour, it takes me half the time to cycle that it does to drive."

"Is it worth it? I think so. I’m about to send Giant my credit-card details because I really can’t see myself sending it back"

Is there a Super Injunction in force, preventing the journalist's affair with his bike from being published?

I read that too, Russ. He put the case for e-bikes very well, I thought, avoiding all the sporty blokey BS that you normally get with anything concerning them. Nice to read a cyclist who regards a bike as a means of transport rather than a keep fit or speed machine.

Although he had borrowed a Giant bike, I read the piece as a comment on electric bikes in general rather than that specific one.
