Hi all,

There is a break in my front light/LED cable with some of the wire exposed. Can anyone recommended good water-resistant heat shrink tube which also offers temperature and environmental protection?

Pic included.

Thanks AGS. Could I just cover that section (as I'd have to take off connector and original tube cannot come off) and shrink without replacing the whole tube - would this brand be suitable?

I used this 4:1 self-adhesive marine heat shrink, and where I haven't (also as well as lol, because I'm fearful of water [not a strong swimmer]), I used self-amalgamating rubber tape:

Ah thanks so much. 4:1 ratio is great, I'll get these. Cheers
That seller shortchanged me twice, then when I brought the matter up, he sent me twice as much as I'd originally ordered as well as... so he's a good egg I think.

4:1 gets it over so many different connectors, and not just on the bike! I use the stuff for audio connectors too, to reinforce the exiting flexes, which otherwise usually fail first. It sets quite solid, but still flexes a bit if narrow, and can be set into a shape while still hot.

Glad to hear the seller rectified shortchanging you. Yes, ratio is definitely a plus point, just what I needed. Thanks again.
