hi all need sugestions for full rear mudguard for vita uno/kudos 26"
I have disks brakes rear rack which utalises mudguard mounts on rear, and affixes to seatpost clamp via hex bolts.

current mudguard is not long enough so looking for something better but not one that clips on to seatpost as I carry a box on the rear rack for locks/shopping

ebay preferred

thank you

I use an SKS Beavertail on the rear:

SKS Beavertail eBay link

They go all the way to the bottom of the seatpost, and are extra wide at the other end to stop mud from flicking up your back.

Edit: Sorry, my mistake, it doesn't go all the way to the bottom, about 3 inches short. Never had any problems with mud splatter or water splash though :)

image.jpeg I don't like the mudguards that clip high on frame so I brought a pr of these, https://www.athleteshop.co.uk/sks-bicycle-fender-set-beavertail-xl-black?gclid=CPLlkpq51MoCFUHkwgodv7ELeg
And grafted the two together to make one long one. Where the guard reaches the bottom bracket it's possible to hold it in place with a couple of cable ties.
I still find this a little short as some road spray / mud still reaches my helmet  so I'll probably make a longer version, it may need a pr of vertical supports from the frame to stop it flapping around ;)

Beaver tail also, I "thread" it through the loops on the underneath of my saddle bag and clip to down tube. It works for me...

With longer bolts the mudguard can share the mount with the rack. SKS here too but I have the street version nice and snug against road tyres.
