Good morning all

Had a quick look at swappiing in my SLX hydraulic brakes

Stripped front brake caliper out and noticed a sensor cable or some such fitted to the brake lever

Bike is a Schianl Braver Amazon special

Anybody know what this cable is for, cutting motor when braking maybe?

Any help gratefully accepted

I thank you

That's exactly what the switch is for. You only need a switch on one of the brakes as long as you use them both at the same time. You can buy stick-on switches if you want to change the brake, or if you already have that type of switch, you can unstick it and stick it on another one.
