Hi all, new to electric bikes and a little help needed please. I have a Carrera Crossfire and am enjoying it, but the steering is stiff. When I lift the front wheel off the ground the and move the handlebar it seems unduly stiff and is odd to steer and ride. Any advice please? Thanks.

Hi
Who put the bike together as I would say the headset is badly adjusted
If it's gone stiff and know one has touched it you have a bearing issue

you will have to loosen the top bolt and the 2 stem bolts. the top cap bolt could have been fully tightened why it feels to stiff.

if you do that then tighten the stem bolts means you will be crushing the bearings and why it feels so stiff.

Also check that the Crown race is fitted correctly, possible it may have been omitted which I wouldn't put past it being a Halfrauds bike. The Crown race sits at the very base of the fork steerer and is the part the bottom baring glides/rotates on.

Over tight headset? Or maybe the bearings in the headset are damaged/worn
