Steam cleaner for cleaning

I don't know whether this is the right place to ask this doubt.
Is anyone using a steam cleaner to clean your bikes? I'm a new rider and now I'm using a steam cleaner. But could the steam cause any damage to the engine, shocks, paint? But I think if we use better quality steam cleaners, nothing will happen. I'm using BRIO 500CC Steam Cleaner, bought from the Vacmaster, shop for vacuum products in Canada It works great on clearing the muck from all kinds of surfaces. But I'm concerned about the damages.
Please share your opinion.

Personally think its overkill. Cant see any damage being done to paintwork etc but do think you,ll be cleaning grease/ oil etc from.places it should be staying.

The pressure of the steam will increase the chances of water getting into places you don't want.

Would you consider using a cleaner like this to clean your bike?

Then you can use just a garden hose pipe to wash it down.
I've used this product and it's pretty good stuff.

PS: Read the reviews on that link. A lot of bike owners swear by it.
