SRAM quick link

I had chain suck (I think that's the term for it) the other day where a plate of one of the chain links got caught in the derrailleur hanger, the plate was bent so a new link was needed. My LBS supplied an SRAM quick link (10 speed), which was very simple to fit onto my 10 speed Shimano chain and all seems fine, I now carry one for spare, does anyone have any experience of these? Should I be replacing it with an original link or is a quick link good enough? It will certainly help when taking the chain off for cleaning!

They are excellent Tim and easily good enough for permanent use as I've proven over years.

It's just a pity that they only come for derailleur size chains, not for 1/8" chain.
