squeeking brakes

is it normal for the disc brakes on my Freego Eagle to squeal when used. Anything to be done or is it just a matter of running them in. Driving me mad

You could try cleaning the rotor surface. Some recommend a little petrol or light oil. I would try simple detergent and water.

I like the squeak. I think of it as an automatic bell.
