Spot Welder Help please.

so i'm getting 7 or 8 weld and then it stops for ages, as though its overheating. is this normal. ive played with the amps and current but nothing seems to work. but the needles to get very hot quick.

any advice

I have one of those. It doesn't stop itself, but I have to stop to let it cool down.

i thinks its heat. left it to cool down and it worked again. what do you have the settings on please.
