Hi i have a ULYZ KOOLGACHET electric folding bike i bought it from a importer on ebay sometime last year it has 16 inch wheels i have used it quiet a few times since i got it but coming home from work today i felt movement in the back wheel i stopped & had a look & most of the spokes had come undone & bent & some had snapped does anybody know where i can take the wheel for respokeing in the birmingham area or who i can contact & order new spokes from.

I can't help with a wheel builder I'm afraid, but SPOKES has been recommended on here for spokes, although it might be best to talk to a good wheelbuilder before ordering any, in case there's a better bet than replacing like with like.

Any independent cycle shop can rebuild the wheel for you Barry, or you can buy short length spokes here:

A cycle shop rebuild is best though, but if it's the motorised wheel that's the problem, some might not be willing to do it.

In that case go to a Powabyke cycle dealer, since they are used to electric bikes:

West Midlands Powabyke dealers

Three of these are approved service centres.
