Speedometer problem

Hello i have a problem with my converted ebike.

I bought a kit from aliexpress 36v/500w from CSC.

The speedometer only works if i use the throotle when motor is working or when i move the bike backwards.

Any clues?

Possible wrong hall sesnore fitted or orientated incorrectly.
One could disconnect the hub motor sensor speed sensor wire and use an external sensor and spoke magnet, simply wire the three wires to the hall connector plug at the controller.

I disconnected the hall plug (6 wires) and i get speed reading when i move the bike backwards... weird
