Hi all,

New here.

I took delivery of an Urban Drivestyle UDX a couple of weeks ago. It's a great bike but the speed limiter is slightly annoying as I'm at top speed a lot of the time, even uphill so the cutting out gets on my nerves. I'm therefore looking into removing the speed limiter.
I have watched a youtube video (
) on how to do it but after trying, I am unable to adjust any settings on the controller as it's locked.

Here are some of my specs:

Controller - KTLCD4
Motor: MXUS ZWG36 XF15R, 250w
Battery - 48V 13.8Ah

More info on the bike if required - https://urbandrivestyle.com/collections/udx-electric-fatbikes/products/udx-204-250w?variant=39319708696654

Please let me know if you need any more info, thanks!

Some LCDs have special software. If it really is locked, try changing it for a standard one, which you can buy anywhere.

might be you have a "blue" (or any other color) cable loop on the controller that limits the speed to the legal 15.5mph
