I took the cycle path to Hendaye yesterday and discovered that my fitness has come back and I am riding much faster so the natural speed bumps on that path unhooked the pannier and changed down the gears from 42 to 32 on the front I would like to get the guy who made that path on a bike (road bike) and make him ride it in both directions.

We've got plenty like that in the English countryside, torture trails.

Ridiculous, but why not ride just to the left of them?
