May 21, 20178 yr Just been for a ride and part way round realised that my mudguard was loose, the bolt having fallen out. Didn't have replacement. In future I will carry a small selection of nuts and bolts/ cable ties etc.

In future I will carry a small selection of nuts and bolts/ cable ties etc. Nail varnish is a good locking medium for that sort of small nut, and can be broken if necessary to undo the fastening in the future, if you don't like pink (that easily shows which nuts you have locked and those you have missed) then you can always use clear varnish
