Are there any shops or businesses around the Essex/London borders where I can purchase parts face to face from a reputable, knowledgeable and reasonable source? Regards Nick H

July 26, 201213 yr If you're after an electric bike shop you may find they aren't much help with brands they don't sell, worth a try though. I'm by the Dartford tunnel and I'm not aware of any ebike shops this side of London.
July 27, 201213 yr What do you need to buy? Maybe you can buy with some member in london/essex online, and they can help you if you have any problem installing the part? If it's a simple task of cables/wires, I can help as I live in london
July 27, 201213 yr A bit further into town than you asked for, but The Electric Transport Shop has a branch in London (Electric Bike Sales - London Store Details). I have dealt with the branch in Oxford and have been able to buy some specialist parts from their stock. They claim to be able to get virtually any electric bike part, but I suspect there will be a long wait for delivery and that the prices will be high compared with ordering from abroad. They do seem to know what they are talking about though.

They do seem to know what they are talking about though. I've found them good in the past but their shop is a right pain to get to from east London and it's not near a tube station.
