I decided to just dip my toes in the water and purchase a secondhand Izip Ezgo folding bike on Ebay for £250 the idea being to see if i liked ebiking before spending a lot of money, the answer is i am now hooked.I would like some feedback from members about this bike and come the day, where is the best place to get a replacement SLA battery for it.
Thanks

There was a thread on Izip batteries a while ago:

I can't remember the conclusions, but, if you're good with tools, you can open the case and replace just the batteries, as long as you can find ones that fit - much cheaper than an official replacement, or, if you're good technically, you could upgrade to a lithium battery.
If you need any help with that, I work in Shrewsbury, so I'd be happy to visit you and guide you through how to do it. If you want that, send me a PM.
