Should ready made and conversion ebike kits come with a battery and charger fireproof storage bag?

Due to the news reports of ebike fires then could this be a solution, I appreciate that the ebike battery metal boxes are better.

I wonder if companies are better doing something than nothing considering the news coverage.

If you buy a reputable kit then they come with a good battery and charger, all kits seem to be put under the same umbrella by the news coverage.

I wonder if councils and housing associations will start to make this mandatory or ban ebikes altogether due to the news.

In some council rental properties, tenants are not allowed to keep ICE motorbikes indoors, and councils have been known to force entry to remove them.
