peter at ebike motor center did service them but then had to replace every single one they opened and cost them a lot of money because the sensors detected it was opened after a firmware update.
bosch can bus lock there bms like most others if power is lost or left with no charge for months drains the cell bank to 0v.
its called renewable technology you throw it in the bin and buy a new one for 20k
post a link over there as might help some poor sucker m8 has a bike with a shitmano motor and cant even buy a new one for 1k warranty replacements only

my electric meter goes in reverse or tilt it up and it wont move at all
I've just watched these vids - all power to your elbow there - I love it when someone (who understands what they are doing and clearly you do) takes the 'lid off' and gets stuck in.
As an aside, I'm a kit conversion fellah and wouldn't dream of buying proprietary stuff, but there's one guy in my local group who has a Shimano system and rides around 7000+ miles a year and his bike is something like 6 yrs old and is only on his second battery but everything else has held up well. The Bosch systems are very popular in my group and not many problems that I can recall until that is when it comes to replacement battery time (£xxx ouch!).
