Bit of background - my dad is a lifelong senior service smoker. I want to get him onto ecigs. He is not keen but I get the impression he just feels and looks silly.

So I made him this - its a vintage senior service tin with about 3800mah of batteries. Rechargable via micro USB and has a standard to USB output to charge ecigs, phones, music players, ereaders - whatever.

Ecigs go on right in leather holder

Battery is next here - 2 x3.7 v 18650 old
Laptop cells

All the electrics were ripped out of a broken iPhone case with charger. Hidden under wood panel (actually left over edging from flooring in two colours)

Leather backing and loop holding the charger all from a doc Martin someone lobbed into my garden a couple of months back

I think it will appeal to him. He will
Love the charging capabilities for his gadgets - you never know he might just try the ecigs more too....

Totally daft but I thought I'd share this one. Charging , 18650 cells and ecigs - perfect for this forum all in a handy pocket size :)

Wow, that is really really impressive, very innovative..... Im sure he will love it.

Reminds me that many years ago my dad used to smoke senior service and someone at the pub used to make animals and models from, I think, the cards that came in them, or was it the packets, I cant really remember I was only about 6 or 7 at the time, but I remember always being very excited to see these 'toys' when dad brought them home.....happy memories.....

My Dad used to smoke them too, I think. Did they say "It's the tobacco that counts" on the inside? He used to tell a really long 'joke' which involved a group of airmen stranded in the desert who killed each other off because someone was counting in the night. The punchline involved the last survivor sitting down for a smoke, opening the packet and seeing "It's the tobacco that counts". I think even at a young age I groaned.
