I saw limpet and a group of his friends ride to the house of commons a couple of months ago. I am afraid I may have shouted "get a bicycle" to them. He did look smug but he also looked like a goon.

A solution looking for a problem?

Saw what may have been the first genuine use for a Segway on ITV4s Tour de France coverage on Wednesday evening. The cameraman filming Chris Boardman's pieces to camera from a bike was using one! May be a long wait though before a second valid use can be found ;)

While I hope it will be thrown out, it is disingenuous of Opik to say this:

"the Department for Transport has been unable to provide and credible evidence from the statute book of why the Segway should be regarded as illegal"

That's nonsense, it's a motor vehicle and unregistered with no exemption, so of course it isn't in any statute, that's the whole point. When people who so obviously lack the capacity of logical thought represent us in parliament, it's little wonder we are in such an economic and social mess.

You're only jealous because you've never dated a Cheeky Girl - or have you? ;)

I've done better than that, I turned one down. ;)

(Not really, I don't set my sights so low in the first place. :p)
