Hi my name is Cormac and own a Seago electric bike. My Display Unit has stopped working properly. The switch for speed control is stuck in low. Water got below the case.

I have tried to get a replacement with no luck.

The control unit is a King model with 5 speeds and lights and walk function, The connector is a 5-pin male light green waterproof connector

The bike is 36v, with a 250w *fun motor and a Samsung 9ah battery

Is the any display unit out there that is a direct replacement or do I have to replace the control unit and some of the wiring.

Any thoughts

Thanks

The display will have to be a Kingmeter or an Intelligent model may work, I assume the main controller is LSW Lishui brand. If you buy any other brand it will only switch on and show maybe a PAS level, it will though throw up a permanent error code due to comm's protocols not matching.
If unable to source a new display then one will have to buy a new controller and display combo.

Show us a pic of the display.

That display is a generic design model but many brands use it with there own software, though many look the same or similar it would have to be controller brand compatible.

Unfortunately most Kingmeter stuff is oem supplied only, the displays if found are quite expensive so it is in the long run better to replace the items.
