noticed that the steering on my Scott 720 had become extremely stiff this prompted me to check out the headset so after removing the forks thought it would be good to take out the bearing clean and re grease.
However thinking it would be a sealed unit to my surprise the bearings where loose and exposed and corroded. the holder for the bearings sorry don't no term is also very worn. My question is can these be replaced with sealed units, also the bearings at the bottom of the stem are also exposed ie not sealed.
the only spec I can find is the general description of "Ritchey Logic Zero semi Integrated" any help advice greatly appreciated.

yes just also put some grease this time on the outside of the new bearings when you fit them.

then clean and re do every 12 months ;)
